| Well, that's probably because it has largely the actual broadway cast, with the broadway "set" they've worked with, and so the show was very well rehearsed and done with Broadway stars, several of them Tony winners. It's sad how rare that is, but of course this is why this tour is one of the best. So many tours today are barely even AEA, and many are non-union presenting as if they aren't, and since it's so expensive to do a show properly on tour from a physical standpoint... it's almost always going to be a degraded product on tour than it was in NYC. |
