| To be clear, I didn't say the show was a total disaster. I said that Peters had a horrible experience doing it / being in it and thus swore off new musicals. Although I do not think it was very good, as was the concensus at the time. I was pretty young and even with less distinguished taste came away feeling it was missing the magic of the other awesome Broadway shows I had seen. In a rarity for me I never even purchased the recording. Maybe it's worth a fresh listen all these years later. I LOVE the rendition of No More that Christiane Noll does on her Broadway Love Story album. |
