| The steam blast did come from the orchestra pit in 1978. There was a CO2 like fire extinguisher near conductor Paul Gemignani. After a performance, I went to the pit and asked him about it. At that same time, I also wished him well on his next project, SWEENEY TODD. He first gave me shocked look and then a big smile! |
