The "logic" is that Svetlana is otherwise substantially underwritten (half of "I know him so well" and some lyrics in whatever form of "Endgame" you put together), and Florence has a plethora of songs explaining her relationship to various men. It makes some level of sense to even this up even the tiniest bit. As it is, I think Tim Rice possibly wasn't and isn't particularly interested in writing a lot more lyrics from the point of view from the wronged wife (given the situation Chess is reflecting from his own affair with Elaine Paige), so porting across an existing one feels like an attempt to balance the books a bit.
