| Agreed! When I heard the revised speech in the current production, I knew it was different from the original version. The earlier one is so beautifully written, emotional and powerful. It still makes me cry. Sorkin took out the eloquence and the passion. I hope Sorkin’s book rarely, if ever, replaces the original in future productions. |
