We are in a holding pattern at the moment because there is a feeling by a good many people that this strike won't last long because it is killing a lot of AMPTP members and not having talent to sell shows for the holidays will be devastating. (Maybe not to Disney etc but to many less well heeled studios and production companies.) And yes there is a huge amount of work that is ready on hold for film/tv and a lot of people juggling those commitments right now. Maybe that's a pipe dream but it is too soon to tell. This strike just started. (It is also felt that settling this will sweep up the WGA in its tail winds.) This assessment will move in one direction or another over the next few weeks and agents are not going to create a mess to give out of until there is some clarity (unless maybe it is the Weisslers giving contracts with an easy out on a dime). So my advice is: cool your jets. [No charge.]
