According to that tweet, the prices are $349, $299, $259, $229, $169 and $129 for non-members, and 15% less for members ($297, $254, $220, $195, $144, and $110).
Many would say those prices are to be expected, but that's higher than I thought it would be. I don't know exactly how the 6 zones are structured, but it looks like the average seat will be $229 or $259. I thought it would be more like $150 or $175 but I guess that's why I'm not a producer!
I presume that this is record high pricing for an off-Broadway show. I'm not sure any off-Broadway show has had premium pricing at $259 before, let alone "regular" pricing at that level. I think Days of Wine and Roses had some seats at $259, but they included a signed Playbill as part of that package. |
