What word is that?

Not sure if you are saying that "fat" is an offensive word? If you are, I will have to disagree with you. As someone who has been fat all his adult life I can tell you I infinitely prefer the straight-ahead descriptor "fat" over euphemisms like "big", "big-boned" and "husky". As with virtually any word, it can be weaponised by someone's attitude and intent, but I'd welcome an advertisement of "fat-friendly" seats.

How there isn't more attention paid to this is a sign of how deep the societal shaming goes: most fat people feel unworthy of even suggesting some seats be provided without armrests. (As as been pointed out, many house managers will make an effort to seat you in a box if the the seats are available.)
