Yes, but the seats were in the front balcony. Row B on house left. It was a great seat to be honest.

The front balcony at the Shubert doesn’t feel too far from the stage or too high. I’ve seen a number of shows from that vantage point over the years - from the original production of A Chorus Line to I’ll Eat You Last to Hello Dolly.

That’s not much of a saving.

I checked next Tuesday. Rear balcony (row g) is $49 with fees. Row e is $69 with fees. Isn’t tdf around that price? I would expect to get mezz or or rear orch at tdf price—not balcony.

The TDF Some Like It Hot balcony seats are $52 plus fees.

I've wondered why they stopped selling other locations for this show on TDF.

so with fees added its probably close to $60. I'd pay $10 more to pick my seat for $69.

Musicals on TDF are generally $63 including fees now, including Some/Hot. nm

Hi, Ann. I don't know if this answers your question. I worked at TDF for many years, and I can tell you that TDF has no control over the tickets that are available at the booth. What I mean is that the producers send the locations over. So, the question you are asking is less a question about the booth than a question about the producers as to why they choose not to send certain locations to the booth.

Well said.

I sat in row B for SLIH, TDF, but in the same seats for the Midler Dolly, box office.

Differences noted, happiness ensued both times.

You’re right! My bad. The other end of Shubert Alley for I’ll Eat You Last, which was indeed at the Booth.

Still, the front of the Shubert balcony is a good deal.
