"Jerry's Girls' opened in December 1985 at the same time "La Cage aux Folles" was still running.

Included in "Jerry's Girls" were "La Cage aux Folles," "Song on the Sand," "I Am What I Am," "The Best of Times" and that ugly La Cage discard "Have a Nice Day." "Have a Nice Day" never saw a public performance in La Cage aux Folles -- it was thrown out, along with the accompanying scenery, before the first preview in Boston.
