| I don't know about you, but sometimes when I see an off Broadway show, I enjoy it more than a bloated Broadway show. If you love Doris Day then this show is for you. The actress Tiffan Borelli does a wonderful job in this 90 minute show of telling you all about the life of Doris Day while singing 14 songs. You learn a lot about her life, and they show images on the side of the real Doris Day. She has the intonation of Doris but of course, not the pure magic of Doris. When she visits the dying rock Hudson in the hospital, she wept, copious tears. The pianist also plays various men in her life. I hope that she is able to bring this show to other cities. There are only a few more performances, and it is on TDF. So I heartily advise you to see you soon. |
