Sadly, Opera News devolved into its sad state over the last decade. MET management tried to remove reviews of MET productions completely because many of the reviews were rightfully negative.
Instead, Opera News mutated into a People Magazine focused on the personal lives of opera stars.
By the time the last tree is standing, people have forgotten that a lush forest used to grow there. When that last tree is felled, no one cares about trees anymore. |
