Definitely. Tunick won the very first Tony given out for Best Orchestrations: for ''Titanic'' in 1997. And he hasn't won again, even though he's been nominated 10 more times.

Before ''Titanic,'' Tunick's got about 25 more Broadway credits, which include ''Company,'' ''A Little Night Music,'' ''A Chorus Line,'' ''Pacific Overtures,'' ''Into the Woods'' ...

This would be a great year to give Tunick a Lifetime Achievement Tony, especially since ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''Merrily We Roll Along'' are both on Broadway this season.
