The new Sondheim show on the West End is musical theatre heaven. I was also in attendance Monday night, and highly recommend it. Tremendous star power and talent on stage. Not to be missed. I was in 3rd center stalls, possibly right in front of DistantDrummer.
Saw and enjoyed the immersive Guys & Dolls revival last night at the unique Bridge Theater. Tuesday night, saw the brilliant mesmerizing Jamie Lloyd production of Sunset Boulevard.
Also marveled at Charlie Stemp’s performance in the current Crazy For You.
All the above-mentioned shows seem far more transfer worthy than the expensive Cabaret revival, which does not improve upon the original Broadway production or the several revivals we’ve seen in NY. |
