The Cook The Thief His Wife & Her Lover is my favorite movie of all time — Gambon’s performance as Albert is terrifying, and extraordinarily brave. A crowning achievement in a rich body of work as an actor.
Glad to have seen him live in Skylight on Broadway in the 90s. (I wish Skylight was a better play.) |
