Just saw the matinee and I thought it was a really great production.

I sat in one of the stage seats for the Broadway production and in the tent, I was a bit off to the side, so this proscenium-based production (which spreads out into the audience frequently and immersively) gave me a much clearer view of a lot of scenes that, I realize now, I missed aspects of.

The cast seems on the young side, not in a bad way, and all very talented. It's wonderfully directed by Victoria Bussert.

It was wonderful to revisit this, to my mind, masterpiece from Dave Malloy.
