| In the segment, there is a backdrop for Musical Husbands, the show Frank and Charley are writing. In the production I saw at the Menier in London in 2012, Act II opened with a big production number from Musical Husbands that took place on a cruise ship and looked like something from Anything Goes. This production moved to the Harold Pinter and opened Act II with a rather dark sequence danced by three of the cast. In a wonderful production directed by Michael Arden in Beverly Hills in 2016, Act II began with a brief reprise of one of the songs from Act I. I know lots of changes have taken place over the years but wonder how Act II opens now. |
