| You mention something interesting. If you're doing an older show, why does one have to eliminate dated references? They are part of the fabric of the show and the world the show lives in. Does that mean we need to write new lyrics to 'I'm still here' because we dont immediately know who Brenda Frazier is or what Beebe's Bathysphere was? Do we cut the Amos n ANdy lyric because someone might hear it and offended? What about the WPA? 5 Dionne babies? And if you write fuve new songs for your old show - are you still doing that show? |
