I believe: At 89, Walter Marks still has the artistic prerogative to revise his show as he sees fit. And by and large, it sounds like ''Golden Rainbow'' was favorably received.
Speaking of ''Follies,'' Sondheim once wrote 4 new songs for the 1987 West End revival. I still prefer the originals, but he had a right to try something different. |
