I pray to GOD that switching my phone off entirely will keep it from making any noise. If you haven't been fortunate enough to attend theater in France, no one's phone goes off, you don't even see light from people's watches. People actually watch the play. By the way, I am going to The Confessions, directed by Alexander Zeldin, who directed Love at the Park Avenue Armory earlier this year.
I assume New York theaters will have the sense to be everyone to turn their phones totally off before matinees today, and I hope some Chatters will report back! |
