| 7 weeks after announcement on April 30. Is the Koch booked earlier in the month or avoiding stanley cup last potential game is June 17--so maybe the Sunday is free. | |

| For at least a decade, the ceremony had been on the second Sunday in June (except for COVID). So the nominations cutoff hasn't changed from usual, but the date of the ceremony has been pushed back a week. It's good they are finalizing the dates now; I feel like the final date isn't usually announced until a bit later than early October. I wonder if this will affect Encores! Titanic, which is scheduled to start its run on June 12, which may have been intentionally set up to start after the Tonys. I guess it depends on who ends up being in the cast. |
