Last week, Broadway veterans took the stage to entertain a sold out crowd for Broadway On The Plains - a benefit concert for the Reda Education Foundation.

Angel Reda (Chicago the Musical, The Cher Show, War Paint), Kaitlyn Davidson (Cinderella, Nice Work If You Can Get It) and Luke Hawkins (Xanadu, Harry Connick, Jr.—A Celebration of Cole Porter) entertained over 300 people at the dinner benefiting the nonprofit. The Reda Education Foundation provides mentorship and financial assistance to under resourced students, allowing them to access a quality education.

At the event, the foundation auctioned off two separate packages, including orchestra tickets to Chicago the Musical on Broadway. The event was a success, raising over $200,000 for the Foundation.

As a member of the foundation’s board of directors, Reda shared her gratitude to the Broadway community for their support. “It’s impactful when we come together as a community to make positive change. Broadway has always been that kind of community to me, and bringing that back to my hometown means so much. We know that REF is not just benefiting the students served, but changing the cycle of education opportunity for generations to come. I’m humbled to be a part of this foundation.”
