| Good for Rattlestick for doing one of his plays. I'm sorry I missed it. Even though I usually have a different idea than the Nobel Prize of what great playwriting means (they tend to be more interested in literary and humanistic values than dramatic form), I really would like to see more productions of translations of contemporary plays by important writers from outside of the US and the UK. Another example of the provincialism of the nyc theater community. |
