I believe the public only had access to tickets in the top 2 of the three mezzanines at Radio City, although I could be wrong.
According to Wikipedia, Radio City seats 5960 people, with roughly 3500 in the orchestra and 800 in each of the three mezzanines. So that would mean roughly 4300 seats under control of the producers.
Those 1600 seats for the public probably brought in $500,000 - $1,000,000 in seat revenue, so that's a notable loss of income. |
