| An inside look at the creation of the songs on Hulu's Emmy-winning series by Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman and Michael R. Jackson. Even though the show's plot was ridiculously contrived (and I correctly predicted the killer), it was fun to see all the N.Y. actors on it and to hear the new songs.) |

| A really fun season with, yes, lots of theatre references. Do we think Wes Taylor will ever be hired by Jordan Roth after this? LOL By the way, also loved all of the little theatre related asides like.... ...MINOR SPOILER AHEAD.... ... Meryl's character being offered a role in 'Hedda Gobbler' the new film about turkeys. |

| The score was genuinely charming - and its songs even sounded like those in a viable book-dictated score. A season that will be remembered for its standalone episodes that had generous fun with theater more than its attenuated (poor wasted Andrea Martin as an unfunny digression) and rather dull whodunnit. | |
