Whatever happened to "the show must go on?" Besides, maybe Daniels just happens to be worth seeing too.
I recently worked with a director who, because of the youth in the cast, started referring to our understudies of all ages as "wonderstudies." Though I hated the pandering way they would use the term, I have to admit that there's something right about it too. Understudies have become our heroes especially post-pandemic. I don't care about the ticket prices. Let's see some respect for the people whose job it is to ignore comments like yours and to put their all into the performances they do. |
