| it isn't listed in lortel website and The Shed isn't either. I don't think off-broadway has a set list of theaters but clearly The Shed isn't on their radar yet. Playbill has an article that the unofficial cutoff is 99 seats or less and off broadway is 100-499. here we are is listed as 526 seats so clearly above off offbroadway and in fact could be considered Broadway over 500 if it was a designated Broadway house, which it isn't. The real key is the type of contract is signed by the company. | |

| As you recognize in answering your own question, it is definitely neither off-off nor on Broadway. Off-B is not tightly controlled the way Broadway is, but the one way in which something is definitely off-B is, as you also recognize, if it is covered by the off-B Equity agreement. A show above 499 needs a contract, and it could mirror or be extrapolated from the off-B contract, or it could be its own. One question: what is the source of the 526? ETA: Being listed on the Lortel website or on IOBDB does not mean anything, especially nowadays when non-profits don't have a lot of idle hands with nothing better to do than being scrupulously attentive to what is in their database. Even IBDB has nor errors than it should. |

| I start writing the question and answer and then maybe do a bit of research and change the answer accordingly. Sometimes I just delete before posting but other times post in case someone else is interested. | |

| Could be another omission for a reason you mention, but Straight Line Crazy is also not in the IOBDB. I counted 528 seats in the chart, but I could be off two dots. Or maybe the seating chart I'm looking at is not accurate. |

| It would be considered off Broadway. Off off applies to theatres with 99 or fewer seats | |
