As you recognize in answering your own question, it is definitely neither off-off nor on Broadway. Off-B is not tightly controlled the way Broadway is, but the one way in which something is definitely off-B is, as you also recognize, if it is covered by the off-B Equity agreement. A show above 499 needs a contract, and it could mirror or be extrapolated from the off-B contract, or it could be its own. One question: what is the source of the 526?
ETA: Being listed on the Lortel website or on IOBDB does not mean anything, especially nowadays when non-profits don't have a lot of idle hands with nothing better to do than being scrupulously attentive to what is in their database. Even IBDB has nor errors than it should. |
