Thank you, Mary Ann. I was in a doctor's waiting room this afternoon when I saw this on my phone, and was then called for my appointment. Later tonight, a mutual college friend confirmed my worst fears. I was lucky to have met Steven during his freshman year (I was a junior), and by the time he was a sophomore, he ruled the roost of anything remotely musical and/or theater. . Not only was he gloriously talented, but also just about the most genuinely nice person you could encounter, particularly in this dog eat dog business. Even in his teens, he was composing and had both a publisher and a lawyer.
I'm heartbroken about this, and hope his husband and child will weather this as best they can. RIP. xo |
