Casey Cott was terrific in the title role of ''The Who's Tommy'' in 2019 at the Kennedy Center, so I'm excited about his Broadway debut in ''Moulin Rouge!''
I can, however, vouch for the current Satine: Courtney Reed. I've seen her a number of times on the tour, and she's just wonderful. (I also remember her from ''Aladdin.'')
By the way, Tituss Burgess just joined ''Moulin Rouge!'' as Zidler, the show's impressive impresario, and he'll be in it until Dec. 17.
It's another reason to revisit a show I've always found ''Spectacular! Spectacular!'' |
