| No, you are not the only one checking the NYTimes Obits daily. :) In their defense, there have been many recent deaths of prominent people (more than seems usual) and it takes time to write them. Also, as another poster wrote, Battle's obit was probably not previously prepared. Additionally, the NYTimes, appears not to always "rush" to release obits. Actor/singer Bill Hayes eventually received an obit two weeks after his death. Actress Kathryn Hays received an obit a full month after her death. Given his long theater resume, enormous talent, and 3 Tonys, I trust that Battle's obit will eventually appear. |
