Good review!

But this quote of the author is nonsense:

But he adds that–unlike the plays of Ludlam and another Ridiculous playwright, Ronald Tavel–Busch's creation "had the semblance of a plot."

I love both Ludlam and Busch (Tavel not so much but he’s very interesting) but Ludlam’s plays were both pastiche and homages to the dramatic narrative form. When he wanted to play with a traditional story he did, as in “Galas”, “Irma Vepp”, “Camille” etc.
