| COLT COEUR ANNOUNCES THE NEW YORK PREMIERE OF STILL WRITTEN BY LIA ROMEO DIRECTED BY ADRIENNE CAMPBELL-HOLT STARRING JAYNE ATKINSON & TIM DALY APRIL 13 – MAY 18, 2024 AT DR2 THEATRE "Still is stunning and needs to be seen."—Berkshire Onstage (February 5, 2024 – New York, NY) Colt Coeur (Adrienne Campbell-Holt, Founding Artistic Director; Heather Cohn, Executive Producer) announced today the New York premiere of STILL by Lia Romeo. Directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Lucille Lortel Visionary Director Award), STILL begins previews on April 13, for a limited engagement through May 18, 2024, at DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street). Following a successful run at the Dorset Theatre Festival in 2023, Jayne Atkinson and Tim Daly will be reprising their acclaimed roles as Helen and Mark in this new play for anyone who's ever wondered "what if?" "Lia Romeo has written a play that I feel I've waited for my whole life. What an honor!," said Tony Award nominee Jayne Atkinson. "This play is funny, moving, thought provoking, and endlessly surprising and as an actor and for an audience that's an exciting combination of elements," said Emmy Award nominee Tim Daly. Thirty years ago, Helen and Mark broke up, but they never completely forgot about each other. When they meet for dinner to catch up, the flame is rekindled... but Mark is running for Congress, and Helen has a secret that could derail his bid. Lost love is revisited and an avocado goes flying in Lia Romeo's whirlwind New York premiere comedy about getting older, political divisions, and roads not taken. "I wrote STILL because I was struggling with some big questions... what to do when you love someone, but you hate some of the things they believe... and what to do when there's someone you can't be with but you also can't manage to forget. I thought writing about these questions might lead me to answers. It didn't. But it did show me that they're questions that also resonate with a lot of other people," said Playwright Lia Romeo. "I'm so excited that Colt Coeur is bringing this beautiful production to New York. Tim and Jayne bring so much sympathy to these characters... it's impossible not to love them, even when they're doing and saying terrible things to one another." STILL begins previews on April 13 and runs to May 18, 2024 with an official press opening on April 18 at DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street), just off Union Square. After Opening, the performance schedule is Tuesdays-Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at 8pm, and Wednesday matinees at 1pm. Running time is approximately 75 minutes. Tickets begin at $26 and are on sale now at www.telecharge.com and 212-239-6200. Ten $10 tickets will be available for each performance in April while supplies last. STILL is being produced by Special Arrangement with Daryl Roth Productions. # # # BIOS LIA ROMEO (Playwright) is a recent graduate of the Juilliard playwriting program. Her plays have been developed at the O'Neill, La Jolla Playhouse, the Lark, and elsewhere, and have been produced in NYC as well as regionally at venues such as Dorset Theatre Festival, Laguna Playhouse, Unicorn Theatre, New Jersey Repertory Theatre, and others. Four of her plays have been recognized by the Kilroys List. Her plays are published by TRW, Broadway Licensing, and Broadway Play Publishing. She is the associate artistic director with Project Y Theatre Company and the co-founder of the Parent-Caregiver Playwrights Group, and is a Colt Coeur resident artist. She teaches playwriting at Primary Stages/ESPA and in the M.A. program in creative writing at Fairleigh Dickinson University. ADRIENNE CAMPBELL-HOLT (Director) is a NYC-based director and choreographer, the Founding Artistic Director of Colt Coeur and a recipient of the Lucille Lortel Visionary Director Award. A graduate of Northwestern University and Yale Drama School, she has appeared in regional theatre, off-Broadway, and Broadway. Jayne made her Broadway debut in the first revival production of Arthur Miller's All My Sons. Other Broadway credits include The Rainmaker (Tony nomination), Our Town with Paul Newman, Enchanted April (Tony nomination, Drama Desk nomination; Outer Critics Circle Award) and Blithe Spirit with the wonderful Angela Lansbury . She has also appeared off-Broadway in a number of productions, including The Art of Success (Drama Desk nomination) and the American Premier of The Skriker at the Public Theater, (Drama Desk nomination). Jayne's feature film credits include Free Willy 1&2, The Village, Syriana and most recently Baby Ruby with Kit Harington and Naomi Merlant, written and directed by Bess Wohl. On television she has recurred on the mega hit series "24," "Criminal Minds," and "House of Cards". In 2019 Jayne was a Series Regular on the NBC series "Bluff City Law" and recurred on the CBS drama "Clarice."
