I actually saw that episode of Gunsmoke -- my family never missed that TV show. Arthur was wonderful as one would expect.
I never saw the 12 episodes of The Jean Arthur Show because I was away at college and didn't have access to a TV. My parents watched the entire, brief run and told me it was quite good. I don't think it was ever made available on video or even if tapes of it still exist.
In all I have seen at least 17 of Jean Arthur's best films. She was delightful in all of them. |
