I really liked Groff too. I saw this production in Boston with the London Frank and really disliked his take on the role. But Groff worked for me.
Yes, there are a lot of moments in the revised book that don't work for me. But overall I found this the best production I've seen of this version of the score/script. Seems to me that Friedman has rethought a lot of moments this time? |
