Shakespeare, dickens and Jane Austin will probably always be in circulation. Tennessee Williams has two great plays (menagerie and streetcar) and miller (salesman and maybe all my sons). Shakespeare has at least a dozen classics. And who in books—Hemingway? Tom Clancy and Stephen king are prolific, but will they be read centuries from now?
