| I'm not sure I agree with that. What would be the definition of "play" that would exclude it? Not trying to pick a fight over it, but I think had that exact text been delivered originally by another actress, I think it would be considered a biographical play about Elaine Stritch summing up her life and career. Also, the Tonys have been exceedingly flexible over the years about categorizing shows. |
