Honestly, on its own, Grand Hotel is weak material. Tommy Tune and the cast made it extraordinary.
I agree. All style, no substance. But what substance! I was mesmerized at each of the several performances I attended.
GRAND HOTEL made me wish we could see what magic Tommy Tune would do with a production of FOLLIES. |
