Okay, I love listening to "Phantom" -- I grew up with it -- but one lyric at the very end, during "Point of No Return" has always confused me. Phantom sings to Christine:
"So do you end your days with me or do you send him to his grave?"
But that doesn't make sense because with both options she sends him to his grave: end your days with me, he dies; send him to his grave, he dies. The choice should be: "So do you start your days with me or do you send him to his grave." Doesn't have the same ring to it, but it makes a lot more sense! |
