Shubert mezzanine, 2006, after a performance of Spamalot…
I picked up a discarded Playbill from my row for my cousin, who loves theater and at that time wasn’t able to travel.
Another patron tapped my shoulder at the top of the stairs and accused me of “stealing” his Playbill. (I picked it up off the floor in an empty row.) I didn’t find this worth an incident , so I gave it to him. A sympathetic usher saw this and gave me a fresh one from his unused stack.
People are odd, but ushers can be great. |
