I miss Show-Score member nights! This time last year I was seeing quite a few Broadway shows in early previews. The four clubs I belong to—TheaterMania Gold, Stagelight Black, Club Free Time, and Will Call Club—have had very few theater offerings that look tempting. Plus you have to keep checking them all day. I was spoiled by Show-Score, which sent me a text message and one hour of a head start for my $10.99 a month! I miss Roundabout’s ACCESS10 also!
I do think that shows are comping, but not through these clubs anymore. I have hope that the clubs will start to pick up as producers look to replace Show-Score. |
