There is a history of Donna giving fine performances in roles in musicals that require true acting. Chorus Line, Follies are two examples. The Music and the Mirror is a dance but it requires real acting to pull off Cassie. Her Sally was perfect. Not in comparison to Collins or anyone else. But as stand alone performance that hit the mark in all ways. I saw her play Rose in Gypsy. She was a revelation.
Madame Morrible isnt Hedda, Regina or Blanche. She will be terrific!
