The Oliviers almost always have some questionable decisions.
The glaring example for me this year is Strangers Things: The First Shadow being nominated as "Best Entertainment or Comedy Play." It's not a comedy and it's not an "entertainment" in the style of its fellow nominee Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends, so why isn't it in the Best New Play category? |
