| I'll add Jane Curtin, who arguably achieved greater success after SNL with Kate & Allie, for which she won two Emmys as leading actress in a comedy series, and then with 3rd Rock From the Sun. Neither was among the longest-running all-time series, but each ran five seasons, which is quite nice. I count 3rd Rock among the all-time great comedy series. She hasn't had great success in movies, and Noises Off closed quickly, not surprisingly, when she took over from LuPone, but I think those two series count for a lot. |
