| That is true, but Brian Stokes Mitchell and others who have won Tonys and been in huge hit musicals did it without being in commissioned pieces and aren't opening a historic theater, both courtesy of family money. Now if, say, Audra McDonald had been financed by some producer to open the Palace, I don't think there would be much controversy. |
