I've seen it twice.
It was chuckle-worthy, but I don't get people who say it's the funniest thing they've ever seen.
Absurdist-lite, yes. It could have been much more over the top, quite frankly.
I feel like many of Escola's line readings are sped through, almost robotic. It made the show less funny to me.
I actually feel the supporting cast is doing the heavier lifting. |
