Both Ebersole and Murphy are 20+ years older than Scherzinger though. If this was a traditional production, either of them would be very compelling choices, but I would think they will want go for someone in the same age range and roughly the same type as their regular leading lady, especially if the character's age has been revised down to 40.
They won't want their production to be radically different on the nights when the alternate is playing.
