| Without spoiling anything, the take I got seeing this production, especially with Rachel Tucker's performance, is that it isn't so much Norma's age that gets in her way as it is her delusion/personality/mental health. When she first appeared she looked like an actress walking out of rehab complete with dark sunglasses and a stony demeanor that suggested great discomfort in being spoken to. |
