I didn't see Jaja but it didn't get the kind of buzz I would have thought a Pulitzer winner would have gotten. From the buzz, it seemed slight. It's interesting how few obvious candidates there are this year. My guess would be The Comeuppance because Branden Jacobs-Jenkins has been a finalist twice already.

Looking back at the Pulitzer winners, the shift in the type of play that wins is quite dramatic. The Flick from 2014 is the last winner that didn't have a strong element of issues affecting less highlighted populations, but the decade prior to that had many winners of a type that would be unlikely to win today, like August: Osage County and Rabbit Hole.
