| It's opening in April at a theatre that's more West End-sized than typical Broadway houses. MTC wouldn't be announcing their next season until around this time next year, and presumably won't until Old Friends has opened and they decide if they're going to extend in place through the summer. So there's time to decide whether it has enough legs for a commercial move elsewhere. (Although if they schedule 25–26 like 24–25, that'd put the first Friedman show again in what's usually the second slot and then it's less urgent than if they'd want to start the next show in August.) |
